Wall display cabinet
« on: December 10, 2017, 17:43 »
Just got this on local Gumtree
It only needed 2 new handles
Too small to fit everything but looks ok I reckon

Looks ok to me as well, also gives me ideas on what to get out of the boxes in the shed to display one day when I get around to it.

I have a few trinkets to put up too unfortunately wall space is a premium. Was thinking about a coffe table with a recessed top and a glass cover so I can add and remove relics as desired

Nice to see a post from you Greg, been far too long :).  Love the display, you've done really well.  Always a challenge to find something that's in harmony with the coins and relics we are trying to display.

I think I spy a Melotte Separator Sales Co plate in the bottom right hand side.  I found one recently - No 5883.  Interesting piece, from a cream separator I believe??

Cheers

Cheers guys ... great to see and hear from some old familiar faces still here and who have gone from strength to strength ;)
Yeah, I havent been doing much since oh about 2013-14 for a couple of reasons
I did wonderful do a 2 year caravanning trip around Oz with Mrs NSC. A lot got ticked off our bucket list.

I have been out twice lately for modern with my old pensioner Xterra70 with some success
Sold off my underused CTX and some of my gold finds ...am happy as one antique 9k gold ring gained a huge price

Used to love tectin in the paddocks and bush may even get a new higher end machine next year if I get active again.
Lightweight, waterproof, Multi simultaneous freq. Nox sounds interesting and has my attention.

Happy swinging and Merry Christmas to all :)

I had one years ago...

Then found out that some one had been into it and removing some of my best projectiles and reloading gear.

So if in doubt, bolt to the wall and PUT a good lock on it.
