There are some new members on the forum who are unsure about how to post. I hope the attached PDF helps.

Cheers

Thanks for that, Snoop. It's exactly what you told me before, but I expected the pics to show up in "preview". Obviously that doesn't happen, the pics are automatically transferred. I'd better find something new so I can try again. Thanks again.

Works ok with original pic size. Once the pic is compressed for a web site, won't appear in the attachment box. OK to send original size?

Ct. P. Keep the images small, you don't have to see them just take notice of the picture no. before you hit browse. Bigpud what do you mean about any key?  If you want to practise just post a picture on the bottom of this post and see what happens .you have an hour ,maybe two to hit delete and remove all reference.I'll go out of this post and then back in and see when the option comes up to remove,it may be after the edit is selected. Rwork
I went out ,then found the post and clicked back on to read the whole post, when i got to my section it said Modify or delete. If you find spelling mistakes or missing words just hit modify, correct and then Save. If you are practising placing pictures, after you are happy that you have the system worked out then delete your practice pictures. Rw.

I seen on another forum ,someone with a video camera filmed his screen and showed members step by step instructions.Perhaps snoopy or someone with a camera can do a video and leave a link.

Hi chooksta

It's a fairly small forum compared to ones like Findmall or Treasurenet. Around here, most use the Adventures and Outings forum or the General Chatter. Members tend to post under specific detectors only on topics that are to do specifically with those machines.

For example, EVERYONE posts their finds under Adventures and Outings but some would post specific questions about various machines on those respective fora (forums  ;) )

From what I remember there are not a lot of Safari users here so maybe just post your Safari specific topics under one of the Minelab sections like E-Trac for example. Or chuck it in the General Chatter...

Welcome to YOUR forum. Nice people around here

Cheers
Snoopa

Posting a photo is dead easy, being allowed to modify/change or retrieve it again is definitely not easy, unless one have a law degree. :-\

I wonder if the post should be deleted now as a few changes have been made to the posting process.

Perhaps an information notice could be posted in it's place warning posters of pictures that their right of return expires within a very short time limit.
