I bought a large SEF coil and a few accessories from Kellyco. It was quite difficult to get in touch with them initially via email but once I posted the order it was promptly processed. Definitely pay using Paypal.  Kellyco has a wide selection of items and reasonable prices but in my opinion could improve in their customer service with international customers.

I figured I'd better update this one. I put another order through with Kellyco and this was the result;

- Initially I was told they don't ship the particular product to Australia
- Repeated emails to the contrary went unanswered by Kellyco
- It took a phone call to reinstate my order
- I was then advised postage and handling hadn't been included in my order
- Postage was paid and only after Paypal cleared would they ship the item
- The item was then shipped to the wrong address  ::)
- I was then sent an email asking how good the customer service was ...

Now let me see, its taken almost a month to get the item here to Australia and now I need to do a 6hr round trip to pick it up  :(

Am I a satisfied customer - not by a long shot!!

CR.... I dealt directly with Leilani at Kellyco via email,  from initial questions, right through to the final order. She organised

everything, & I couldn't  fault the service. 8)

It's amazing that different contacts get different results.  No wonder you're peed off! >:(

Yes, I agree with the comments about KellyCo.  I used them originaly back in 1990, but their International sales process is "cumbersome and outdated". Having to email them, then waiting a few days for a reply, in this day and age indictes to me they are not serious about international sales.  There are so many good sites that instanly calulate the freight and often give a choice of freight options (based on cost and delivery time).  In 1990 I was just happy to find a US company who would deal with me, but these days with mail order internet we expect fast hassle free dealing.  I have to say over the last 25 years I have spent near $30,000 buying from US companies, and only had one minor issue with one company and that was quickly resolved. I have never had anything lost in transit, and most coming via United States Postal Service (USPS).  Their are customer service is excellent, something the local suppliers here in Oz often lack.

Just did a bit of late Xmas shopping for myself at Kellyco   :)

Nice to see now the checkout is easier for international customers. Simply selected Australia and put in postcode and the shipping was priced straight away. The paypal checkout is great too, saves having to type in your address.
A lot easier than before!

Just an update on my situation with kelly co. Ordered the 25th with credit card and a few days later thought I would track the item, no luck, thought i had the number wrong, went thru UPS and fedex, trying order numbers then sales invoice numbers, nothing. Thought I would check my order and found it had been cancelled. Went thru their complaints system and at this moment still have that case open, no reply. Rang them and found that they don't take credit cards from overseas, nowhere was that said on their page nor had they emailed me. Ordered another time and again a few days later thought I would track the parcel with again no success, went into my account and found that it is partially fulfilled. Rang again and they said they don't have any AT Pro's, no pro pointers or underwater headphones, supposed to be arriving in coming few days and then it will be shipped. Checked after the few days had passed, nothing, checked again and found that my order had been closed and re-opened, whether that put me to the back of the queue I don't know but when I rang again to ask why it hadn't been shipped she said they did get an order in but there was people ahead of me and they got served 1st but she couldn't tell me how many people could be in front of me still or whether or not I would be getting my order filled with this coming shipment which is supposed to be arriving again this monday or tuesday for the pro and pointer but maybe not the headphones. Emailed Dan Gerrel with no reply. At this stage with ten days delivery it could be 5-7 weeks from order to delivery. I saw somewhere in this forum there was a guy with free shipping, I emailed him and he said if I ordered it last thursday when he replied it could be here by wednesday.

Another update  :

Saw that order was not sent, still unfullfilled, rang and asked and they said still awaiting shipment. they have promised it to me twice now
Cancelled order and got refund, ordered through someone else, that arrives in 4-5 days.
Saw that I have been charged 3% ( 28.50 ) conversion fee by ANZ and I presume one when the money comes back to me, so $57.00 out of pocket and I presume another fee through the other person I have ordered it so total cost of $85.50 to be added to final cost

Kellyco

I too have attempted tp place orders with them
They have not responded to my multiple requests for postage costs for impending orders...NIL response  - ever
I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole
Customer service wanted ?? beware non responsive sellers
I can just imagine what would happen with a broken item, return or problem with a purchase (but my orders never got that far)

Got my 5th order in as many months from kellyco last week. no dramas with delivery or postage, i deal with dan gerrell he is their ceo / manager of all departments. he is also the man who is running and administrator of their facebook page. he gives me free freight on all detectors (garrett) as the other garrett dealer in usa gives free delivery, plus dan gives me a large discount on each order. I am not a rep or sales person or paid cash for comment by kellyco but am finding they are excellent to deal with, if you get the right people.
i have had some issues with dealing with international sales team their, starters they wont accept credit card, but once i put through to dan or shavon (his personal assistant) they then accept my credit card, the rule in kellyco is no overseas credit cards only paypal which has different exchange rate and higher fee than my credit card.
So yes, kellyco like any overseas firm it does pay to get to know the people who you deal with their, i speak almost daily on email to either dan or shavon who love my videos, photos of my detecting and feedback on the various coils and tools they sending to me.

Went to Kellyco had two books in the basket at the checkout to check the shipping cost.
It seemed a little excessive, sent an email to clarify..........so far (2Weeks)no response.
Emptied the basket and went to the Authors website in Canada, same two books inc. postage  $Au 44.93.

well i have had no problem getting freight taken off my orders, you just got to talk to dan i guess. but watch out if using usps instead of fedex, usps is cheaper and can loose a parcel easier. fedex is expensive but arrives fast
