Jaycar magnifying lamp
« on: October 29, 2013, 23:52 »
I bought one of these the other day as a spur of the moment purchase at Jaycar electronics, somehow I wish I would have bought one earlier for looking at rock specimens, coins, relics etc.  It has 64 LED's, a large 3x lense, and a small 12x for greater detail, and retails for between $45-50, depending on local sales discounts.  Sort of looks like toilet lid on a stand, but great for failing eyesight! ;D

I bought one from Jaycar too a little while ago.  Helps a lot with taking pics as well as getting in close and personal with the finds.  I'm happy with it.
