XP Deus Speed demo
« on: November 30, 2017, 10:54 »
Needed a break from the keyboard so I threw a few things on the ground, wound up the Reactivity (Recovery Speed) to 5 and this was the result.

Program 9 is a FULL tone program that's why you can hear each target, This is what I use in the field exactly although the speed is wound down some. Usually 2, 2.5 or 3. Once you know what 5c 10c 20c 50c $2 Etc sound like you can usually cherry pick them at about 85% accuracy.

Silvers, coppers and pre-dec are all pretty high tones and it's rare to walk past a higher tone and leave it.
Anything above the TID 80 comes out of the ground every time, squashed aluminium bottle cap or not. LOL

I prefer to hear the iron in most cases, if I get a suspect one I'll switch programs to one with a heavy discrimination like +10. In some cases eliminating the low tone, allows the high tone to come through better.

But one thing with Discrimination not many people understand, is that it still detects the discriminated target, it just doesn't tone on it. Many believe discrim settings actually stop the detector from even seeing the unwanted target, this is not true and you'd be surprised how many think thats how it works.

Happy Hunting.

I found this post with difficulty. We have to check Unread posts in each section now rather than overall. Create yourself a new membership so you can see what members see.
Thanks for all the work so far. I hope you get some detecting done soon.

That Video was about the Most detecting I have done in 2 weeks.

Hoping to get at least a few hours in on the weekend, in between rain it looks like. Not like your rain though.

Cheers Ray, I'll do some more investigation.

That was a pretty impressive demo.  If I tried to swing the 705 that fast, I'd end up, bum up.

I just have a question.  Is the Deus a multifrequency searching machine?  I have read the info on your site but am not sure as to how it searches.  I have figured out that it isn't like the X-Terra where you have to change coils to change frequency.  But I am not sure if the Deus searches in a single frequency, chosen with the remote or whether it searches in multi frequencies at one time. (4,8,12.18 KHz)

I also wish to add:  I used the M-I6 pinpointer this week during a hunt with Brisgazza.  To say I was impressed is an understatement.  Terrific.....

Deus uses 1 Frequency at a Time, Changing frequency is a button push rather than a coil change.

Black coils 4,8,12,18. White coils 15,30,55 Round and 15,30,80 Elliptical.

I came from a 705 and its the inertia of changing directions that kills you with them, especially with that big 15 inch coil on it. Great machine to use though and I picked up a LOT of coins with mine.

The MI-6 is good, it does require a small technique change to get the most from it. The audio through headphones is great.

Cheers Mate
