Postage and warranty would be an issue from the USA...
I have one, has some nice functions and much happier with it, over the Garrett Pro, but can not comment as to the MineLab ...
They are also available out of Brisbane direct from the Deteknix  agent..

Mine has been faultless, but I am also aware some minor changes have been made in the last 4 months as well... Better management of water ingress is the big extra for me.

I've been considering getting a backup pin-pointer, looking for some reviews, came across this on YouTube.

AD , you have ProFind25 as dont you how much better/worse it when you compare them side by side on an un-dug target ?

Just found this little Vid , very interesting to see the side by side tests , no ML though , we know its not as deep as a Garret but then again the ML pointer was made so carry it on you with your GPX that it doesn't false the detector

Anyway have a look at this www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tpCnMKhEiM

And then there is this as well

It does work on the ML pointer as well

Can not speak highly enough about the X Pointer By deteknix

It's the best dam pointer I have owed full stop.

The aussie supplier is fantastic and a gem  to work with as well

I ended up getting the leg holster with it which will take some getting used to as I feel like I'm packing heat ;D

AD on me; I like it down low...  Close to my knee....
You look like you are packing heat and then some...  That looks more like a swiss army knife kit...and then some....
Let me know how it all runs in the wet sand/shallow surf...
