XP Deus in Western Australian Goldfields

Has as anyone used the XP Deus in the WA Goldfields and find any Nuggets with it?  Would like to hear from anyone who has and maybe share some settings for this highly mineralised ground.

Have you read the xp4 info on new coils and a duel coil version like a box detector?

Can't say I have , was hopong someone can advise settings for mineralised ground to find gold nuggets, in particular WA soils.

you should of come to the wa meet up at Guildford yesterday .. there were 3 users of the xp there .
in general chat  in the wa meet up thread ask your question there ...

Does chuck norris use a metal detector on the beach ..no he is the metal detector and the beach comes to him ..

i tried to help you with settings on finds heres what i said
hello
im not in Australia but in Arizona usa
but ill try to help

i run the deus in Goldfield / 60-75 sensitivy / manual or tracking on the ground balance .

it works well on finding nuggets for me ..

heres a 3.3 pennyweight that i just found. 2 weeks ago..
gotta get the coil over them to find them ..
have fun its a deus thing ;)

i have taken mine up to places around mount magnet and cue. i tried just about every type of setting, all different frequencies etc to no avail. they are usless in that area IMO.

pulse induction is the only thing that can handle the mineralised ground properly, Id be keen to see some reports on the new garret machine used in these areas

yeah thats the one. I have used a 4500 up there and it was stable as can be yet super sensitive. day vs night compared to the multi frequency VLF machines we had on hand
